Sunscreen is your best friend
Whether you are sunbathing at the beach or just hanging out on your porch with your family, you need to make sure that you have some sunscreen on.
Exposure to UV during relentlessly hot and sunny summer days will have both short term and long-term effects on your skin. Future you will definitely thank you for applying that extra coat of sunscreen during summer.
Moisturize from the inside and the outside
You lose a lot of skin moisture during the summer mainly as a result of all the excessive sweating. There are 2 ways to replace this lost water.
The first is using a moisturizer that hydrates your skin from the outside in. Ideally, you should apply moisturizer before makeup to seal your skin’s moisture throughout the day.
The second way to hydrate your skin over the summer is by drinking plenty of water. Try to get at least 3 to 4 liters of water in every day.
Exfoliate, exfoliate, exfoliate
From sunburns to dry and flaky skin from moisture loss, your skin will be losing a lot of cells. Exfoliation helps get rid of these for clean, clear, and well-aerated skin.
